Matt Houglum

I've developed software for the web and various mobile devices using several languages, databases, and other assorted technologies.

I attended MTSU from 2008 to 2014, obtaining my bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science. While there, I worked as a Jr. Linux system administrator and Android application developer. Following college, I worked as a technical solutions engineer on the Google Cloud Platform for 2 years. After this, I transitioned to software engineering, and have spent the last 8+ years building various object storage functionality for Google Cloud.

My particular areas of interest include general software design and development, distributed solutions, Android application development, web application development, and Linux system administration. The programming languages that I'm most fluent in are Python, Go, C++, and Java.
